2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide through Google OAuth authentication, including your name, email address, and profile picture. We also automatically collect usage data such as access times, pages viewed, and your IP address. If you create content within the platform (such as case studies), that content is stored on our servers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and maintain the Service, authenticate your identity, personalize your experience, communicate with you about the Service, monitor usage patterns to improve the Service, and ensure the security and integrity of the platform.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in secure PostgreSQL databases hosted on reputable cloud infrastructure. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

5. Third-Party Services

We use Google OAuth for authentication. When you sign in, Google's privacy policy applies to the authentication process. We may also use AI services (via OpenRouter) to power features like the case study builder. Content you submit to AI-powered features may be processed by third-party AI providers according to their respective privacy policies.

6. Cookies and Local Storage

We use essential cookies for authentication sessions (NextAuth session cookie) and locale preferences (NEXT_LOCALE cookie). We also use browser local storage for theme preferences. These are strictly functional and are not used for tracking or advertising purposes.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account by contacting us. If you are in the EU/EEA, you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
